The MTB Powermeter is spezially designed for offroad use.It is only produced
in professional version with 4 straingauge stripes. Cranks are available
from 165mm to 180mm for 113mm square axle (model Shimano
XTR 1995).
The small chainring has a pitch circle of 74mm and is available from 24..36 teeth, 24 or 26 teeth is standard. The middle and the big chainring has a pitch circle of 110mm and is available from 33 to 61 teeth. 36 / 46 teeth or 36 / 48 teeth is standard. The weight of the Powermeter with chainrings 26/36/48 and 175mm crank is 580 grams. For the MTB Powermeter is also spezial sensor cable kit availabel (sensorcable = receiver for speed, torque and cadence signals with cables and a plug for Powercontrol), that makes the mounting of the data sensor at the bottom bracket sets for espezially suspension bikes more easier. At this sensor the receiving coil and the magnet for cadence are seperated (not in one housing like the standard sensor) and can be mounted at different places at the bottom bracket set.
